We are looking to appoint a proactive
Service Lead, for the Childrens Systems Development and Support
Team responsible for the development, implementation and
maintenance of our Childrens Case Management systems
(principally System C LiquidLogic LCS & EHM).
The team leads on projects to fulfil
business needs and provides support to the end user. The Service
Lead role has a strategic position working closely with senior
colleagues agreeing projects, timescales and deliverables.
This will enable Cumberland and Westmorland
& Furness Councils to deliver a high-quality service to their
customers, guaranteeing compliance with statutory requirements
and undertaking on-going analysis to support effective service
delivery.
Cumberland Council is currently delivering a hosted ICT Service
for Cumberland Council, Westmorland and Furness Council and
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service. The provision of these services
will be disaggregated at a future date and this role has been
allocated to Westmoreland and Furness.
This role is full time on a permanent basis
and will be primarily based from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a key point of contact for the
Childrens Social Care & Early Help service areas
- Build strong relationships with internal
and external stakeholders
- Responsible for sourcing solutions which
will help bring a positive outcome to both councils
- Contribute to wider system service
planning by establishing and understanding specific business
needs
- Evaluate new systems products, upgrades
and enhancements
Who were

To succeed in this role, we are looking for
someone who has knowledge and experience of using LiquidLogic
LCS/EHM systems. You will have good communication skills and can
build relationships to help both councils meet the needs of their
children & families. You and your team will support the
business to harness the technology available to them, as well as
deliver training and ensure consistency, so the ability to adapt
your communication style to the required audience is key.
You will have an understanding, of relevant
local authority legislation including GDPR and Information
Security. A team player who can work with a high degree of
accuracy and attention to detail you will bring innovative
solutions and strong problem-solving skills to the team.

as we develop the systems and processes to support the new
authorities following Local Government Reorganisation.
