Welcome to Cumberland

After months of hard work, revision and preparation, young people across Cumberland are receiving their GCSE results today. The results will help shape their next steps into sixth form, college, apprenticeships, training or employment.

On the build up to the bank holiday on Monday 31 August, Cumberland Council is reminding residents how to access its services.

Cumberland Council is set to carry out essential carriageway resurfacing works on the A69 Warwick Road in Carlisle later this month to help keep the road safe and in good condition for road users.
