Janitor (15 Hours)
Salary Grade: OP3A £24,796 - £25,185 (pro-rata)

Required from 1st June 2026, or as soon as possible, a hard-working, skilled Janitor to effectively deliver the security and operation of the school building and site.

The successful candidate will: -
*Have a good background knowledge in all aspects of maintenance
*Have experience of working as part of a team and lone working
*Have a well-organised approach to work
*Be highly motivated & committed 
*Be flexible

This is a permanent position and will require some working in school closure periods. The position is subjects to DRB clearance.

Part-Time 1:1 SEN/Classroom Teaching Assistant

Temporary (Maternity Cover) PT 1:1 SEN & Classroom Teaching Assistant 
(24 hrs per week)

PCD5 £25,989 (FTE per annum pro rata) term time only

(Temporary from April 2026 until November 2026). 

The Governors of Silloth Primary School are looking to recruit a lively, enthusiastic, well-motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a range of SEN pupils. The successful candidate should be capable of integrating swiftly and successfully into our hard working, friendly and experienced team as soon as possible. 

The successful candidate will:
•    Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
•    Have experience of working with SEND children  
•    Have classroom experience
•    Be committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential
•    Have high expectations for all pupils and be committed to raising standards
•    Have good listening and behaviour management skills
•    Have a good understanding of, and commitment to, the safeguarding and welfare of children
•    Be able to follow direction from the class teacher and also use their own initiative
•    Be enthusiastic, motivated and fully prepared to participate in the wider life of the school 
•    Have a willingness to work with a committed staff team
•    Work with the pupil for part of the lunch hour each day
