Parkside is a comfortable, homely and safe environment which provides 24 hour residential care for the elderly frail.

Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights), over 7 days, 365 day a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.

We are seeking to recruit Music Teachers to Cumberland Music Service, which is a Local Authority service delivery area within Cumberland Council.  Positions are contracted Centrally Employed Teachers.

We are looking to recruit:

•    1.5 x FTE  Guitar/Ukelele/Bass (although this could be comprised of 3 x 0.5 FTE)

•    1 x FTE  equivalent - to cover Brass and Strings.  This could be comprised of 2 x 0.5 FTE for flexibility (i.e. 0.5 FTE for Brass plus 0.5 FTE for Strings)

All positions are required to teach full class, small groups, 1-1 tuition and (depending on location) participate to develop Carlisle Music Centre and progress after school performances.  In addition, it would be desirable (although not essential) for all successful candidates to be able/willing to offer other instruments such as recorder/ukelele to whole classes.

Pay will be dependent on experience and qualification – Minimum Unqualified Teacher Status to UPS3, and will be on Standard Teachers’ Pay and Conditions.

Orgill English Hub is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced educator to the role of Deputy English Hub Lead. Based at Orgill Primary School in Egremont, with opportunities for remote working, you will play a key part in supporting schools across the region to improve early reading and phonics provision.

Orgill Primary School has been designated as one of 34 English Hubs across England.  This network of some of the best performing primary schools has been set up to improve reading standards across the country and improve educational outcomes for the most disadvantaged children.
