We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, efficient administrator with excellent communication skills to support our Management Committee.
The Clerk will have a knowledge of effective governance practice and will advise the Management Committee on all procedural and constitutional matters, manage memberships, administer meetings, and maintain appropriate records.  

There are 4 Management Committee and 9 Sub-committee meetings per year, which are scheduled each September for the year ahead.  Meetings are typically held in the late afternoon / early evening.  Other working hours are scheduled at the Clerk’s discretion.

Site Supervisor

15 hrs per week split across the mornings and afternoons

Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint a site supervisor to join our dedicated team here at Maryport CE Primary School. The successful candidate needs to be flexible, reliable, self-motivated and have a range of practical skills needed to support the running of a large, busy school building and grounds.

A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements is necessary, although training will be provided. The role requires someone who is capable of using their initiative and undertaking small projects. In addition, there will be security and keyholder responsibilities.

Hours of work are 15 per week, usually worked between 7am-8am and 3.30-5.30 (with some variation on this on Wednesdays). Two weeks annual leave can be taken during term time if desired and is not limited to the school holidays.
